Speed Limits

  • •Motorway: 120 km/h (100 km/h in wet conditions)
  • •National Road: 100 km/h
  • •Regional Road: 80 km/h
  • •Local Road: 50 km/h
  • •Built-up area: 50 km/h

Overtaking Rules

  • •Never overtake across a continuous white line
  • •Do not overtake at the brow of a hill or blind bend
  • •Do not overtake near a junction or pedestrian crossing
  • •You may overtake on the left only in slow-moving traffic
  • •Always check mirrors and blind spots before overtaking

Following Distance

  • •2-second rule: Maintain safe distance in dry conditions
  • •Double to 4 seconds in wet or poor visibility
  • •Increase distance when towing or carrying heavy loads
  • •Never tailgate other vehicles

Parking Restrictions

  • •Double yellow lines: No parking at any time
  • •Single yellow line: No parking during business hours (check signs)
  • •Clearways: No stopping or parking during operational hours
  • •Always park on the left side of the road
  • •Never park on a bend or near a junction

Lights and Visibility
